Our Academy's Enterprise,Rumaki and Adventure went to Tunohopu Marae. We had three days on the marae. When it was the first day we went to Potepoto Urupa, Lake front and the Aquatic center. When we went back to the Marae we did a powhiri and we had to do it in proper school uniform and we had to wait for about 5 minutes to go in the whare nui. Whaea Kelly's dad told us some stories about the dead and the area of the marae. When we finished our powhiri we went to
make our beds. Then we put our shoes on to go for a walk to Saint Faiths church and to look at the Te Arawa waka. When we got back from the walk it was tea time so we had to wash our hands and line up in our groups. After we had tea and dessert we had free time and we were aloud to play with our phones , mp3s and cameras it was fun but we also got to have a play on the PSP.
The next day we had to split in to our groups and do three activities. After the activities we had to do a preformed for marae idol and the audience was the other groups and after we had tea we watched Ratatouille.The next day we went to Te Puia and Rumaki went to the Museum

Welcome to Room 8 Enterprise. Our teacher is Whaea Taki and our Teacher Aid is Whaea Amanda. We are all particapating in Stage Challange,Choir and Kapa Haka. We do a lot of hands on work.We are making pois to sell to the school and the staff. It is cool in our class. We do cool an exciting things.We also have PE on Fridays and sometimes on Thurdays with Rumaki. On Wednesday we have team hui we do songs and the teachers tell us whats going on around the school. We are starting a treaty in our class for safety. We also went to Tunohupo Marae. We did a lot of stuff we had a lot of fun but it was boring that we had to get up at 5 o'clock in the morning for a dawn parade but it ended up raining which was a waste of time we made a lot more friends from other classes and we got to know more stuff about Whaea Kellys whanua and that at.Te Puia we lernt how to make rope that girls aren't aloud to carve you that we looked at the guyzes and there is a pool there were kids can swim in because that is their playground so there you have it thats room 8
